In a world of forks and spoons,
I'm the spork.
In a world of black and white,
I'm a shade of grey.
In a world of beef and chicken,
I'm the pork.
In a world of yesterday and tomorrow,
I'm today.

It's short, but I really really like that one!

I love the two last lines.

We spend so much time reminiscing the past and hoping the future, while what we should really do is live in the now.

I really love that poem.

Interests

These are just a few of my favorite things...

I am quite interseted in big questions such as the fundamental nature of reality...I enjoy complex math problems like those found in a calculus textbook...Physics interests me because it describes the way everything works. Quantum physics interests me although im not sure if i completely understand it.

Chemistry and the way different elements combine and how their properties change according to how their combined...Geology...tectonic plates...quarks...leptons...basically im very interested in how things work...like how on a gigantic level the universe seems to run like a clock, planets orbitting in routine motions and everything holding everything else together...in our solar system how the earth is positioned just right so that we neither burn up or freeze to death. The way the earth is constantly recreating itself, melting rock down, earthquakes, shifting plates causing mountains to form...im interested in the study of how our brains work...though there is alot of speculation out there because though we can figure everything else out...an explanation for exactly how our minds do the things they do still eludes us....the complexity of one cell in a human's body...the dna in that cell that holds unimaginably vast amounts of information....the atomic world and the way our view of atoms has changed so drastically...the way we keep finding smaller parts of matter...dark matter...black holes...space/time

I enjoy encountering new stories whether in print or film...seeing the way the writer plays with the characters and plot twists...the surprises that you never see coming and that keep you turning pages or sitting on the edge of your seat. I enjoy living the story of life, mingling with the characters in my sphere of influence...learning more about who i am and what it all means...learning to live with people's imperfections including my own...

Im intrigued by the things that go beyond words...experiences that you can feel and go through but that...when you attempt to tell someone about them just don't come out right. The person thinks they understand but they don't...not really...thinking about the fact that everyone has their own stories...their own history, filled with heartache and pain...sunshine and rain..corny...but really the fact that all of us are dealing with different worries and fears...different struggles...overcoming things that have happened to us...i'm interested in dang near everything
